I’m Dr Tingting Bi, a Lecturer in Software Engineering at the University of Melbourne. University profile My research sits at the intersection of software architecture, artificial intelligence, and software supply chain security. I explore how human expertise and AI, particularly large language models, can work together to support better design decisions, strengthen development practices, and make intelligent software systems more transparent, responsible, and resilient.

I’m a Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor in the U.S.) in the School of Computing and Information Systems at The University of Melbourne, and an Adjunct Lecturer at The University of Western Australia.
Previously, I was a Research Scientist and Research Fellow at Data61, CSIRO. I completed my PhD at Monash University in 2023 under Australian Laureate Professor John Grundy.
